A Note from Mrs. Tran
We had our annual 7th and 8th grade Science Fair yesterday, and it was a huge success! All students were invited to peruse the projects and hear the presentations during the afternoon. Our 7th and 8th grade presenters did a wonderful job showcasing their formal presentation skills and answering questions. It was also a time for our judges (various staff members) to go from project to project to rate them. Each time I walked close to a project, the students would stand up straight, smile, and prepare to begin their presentation. Then in the evening, students came dressed in their best and brought some additional props—flowers, fried eggs, children’s games, etc. We had a great turnout regarding friends and family, and it was wonderful seeing the pride on their faces. Mr. Chu did a fantastic job preparing them for the fair, and we are excited to see what next year’s 7th and 8th graders come up with!
