Fine Arts

Blessed Sacrament students participate in both academic and co-curricular fine arts opportunities. Studies show that fine arts help to develop a well-rounded person and support cognitive growth, so Blessed Sacrament offers music education to all elementary students.

The students get several opportunities to practice their public speaking skills during daily mass as well as during school performances including the annual Christmas play for students in Pre-K through fourth grade.  Students participate in art class once a week. Our instructor, Ms. Caitlyn Schmidt, identifies art-projects that compliment and reinforce their grade-level specific lesson plans.  While walking through the hallways here at Blessed Sacrament, various art pieces completed by our students are hung with pride in our hallways.
